Picture #1 for Cat from Carter

I think this picture represents the mind of the narrator in The Black Cat. The one-eyed cat is shown as a monster, as the narrator perceives it. Also, in the cat's mouth is his wife, which represents the cat's meow reveals his wife's corpse.

    I really like this picture! (even though I might have nightmares because of it.)

    The expression on the narrator's face portrays how he felt: fearful and ashamed. I also thinks it's symbolic how large the cat is compared to the other characters. The black cat has power over everything in the story, and the picture shows it.
